RIP CHARACTERS Skills ------ Skills are used for almost all tasks thet require special training. Most skills, when learned, start at the same level as appropriate ability, but may be raised by experience and training. If skill is used without level, appropriate ability is used with -1 to -3 penalty, depending on skill. Specialization: =============== Each skill is very broad, and character may specialize in one part of it. In such case, he gains +1 to all tests concerning his specialization, and -1 to tests concerning things not very close to his specialization. Experience ---------- There are two ways to gain experience: By adventuring or by training. In adventures character gain normally 1-10 experience points per adventure while training he gains 1 point per week. Training requires suitable location and items and preferably a tutor.
