EXTRA RULES
Here is some extra rules, do not take them too seriously...
"PINBALL" RULES
These rules are made to give the game a bit more 'bigger' feel for
those, who need big numbers for big things.
Simple multiple all health levels, damage inflicted and restored
etc. by 100
Example: A normal attack does 100 points of damage, while
a big fireball might do over 1000 points of damage! Likewise,
characters may have over 1000 health levels!
If need to, do likewise to magic point stores and requirements.
Example: 'I cast a 1300 magic point lightning bolt doing
1000 points of lightning damage!'
With little extra work, multiple armor by 100, too. Do likewise with
d6 roll and to-hit bonuses.
Example: A common dwarf has armor of 300 while balrog has
armor with value 1000! Moreover, it gains +400 as to-hit
bonuses while attacking!
To extend this, save modifiers can also be multiplied by 100, giving
results like this:
Example: 'The creature hits - it's sting was poisoned! Save at
-400!' 'Darn, I have only +300 at saves...'
For understandable reasons, attacks, enchantment durations, area
effects or targets affected etc. should not be multiplied...
EXTRA CHARACTER POWERS
Add following new powers for characters with higher levels:
- At level 10, Communicate while Unconscious
The character can, after being mortally wounded, still yell for
help, ask for heal and give general tactical advice about the
situation
- At level 15, Communicate while Dead
As level 10 power Commune while Unconscious, but this is even
extended to periods while dead and other characters are still close.
All pleads not to reincarnate him instead of simple
resurrection should be ignored!
- At level 20, Communicate while Not Present
As level 15 power Commune while Dead, but this applies even when
other characters are not standing close. The character can give
tactical advice, complain from stupid choices and otherwise be quite
irritating while being not present, dead or not.
- At level 25, Attack a Character not Present
This is a countermeasure power for level 20 power Commune while not
Present. The character can now response to use of such a power by
attacking or casting a spell to character using level 20 power. This
ignores all normal line-of-sight and other restrictions, and touch
spells and melee weapons can be used. The character can attack for one
round for each communication attempt, only damaging, irritating,
harassinbg or humiliating attacks or spells are allowed.
